Position: Prep Cook
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager

Job Summary: Coordinates daily food portioning and preparation; Assists the cooks in the performance of duties.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: (Specific areas of responsibility included but not limited to.)

  1. Responsible for assisting the cooks in the performance of duties to ensure all functional duties associated with this job are preformed according to established company and department policies and procedures.
  2. Coordinates daily food portioning and preparation; must also restock stations.
  3. Must have knowledge of cleaning, setting up and breakdown procedures.
  4. Provides courteous service and is cordial to all team members and guests.
  5. Requires previous experience in food preparation and basic knowledge of kitchen operations.
  6. Ability to communicate and converse with supervisors and co-workers regarding job duties.
  7. Must present a clean, well-groomed appearance.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

    1. General knowledge of the preparation of various food items.
    2. Ability to speak and understand English.
    3. Must possess a valid Health card.
    4. Must be able to obtain a valid non-gaming work permit.
    5. Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
