Position:         Surveillance Agent
Department:  Surveillance
Reports to:     Surveillance Supervisor

Job Summary:  To ensure the protection of Tribal/Casino assets through supervision and coordination of the daily activities and divisional personnel engaged in monitoring and investigating gaming and non-gaming areas.

Duties and Responsibilities: (Specific areas of responsibility included but not limited to)

1. Ensures compliance of Tribal Policies and Procedures, the Tribal/State Compact, and the Santa Ysabel Gaming Commission.
2. Manages the operation of the digital surveillance system and equipment.
3. Oversees the installation, operation and maintenance of all surveillance equipment.
4. Ensures immediate action is taken on any situation which might be life threatening, illegal or otherwise extraordinary.
5. Ensures documentation and control of all evidence in the direct control and custody of the Surveillance Division. Ensures the preservation of evidence for presentation in appropriate Courts of Law.

Mandatory requirements:

1. Must demonstrate excellent observation and communication skills, to include the ability to read, analyze, and interpret
2. Complex documents such as technical journals, gaming regulations, financial reports and legal documents.
3. Must demonstrate the ability to present information to the Santa Ysabel Gaming Commission in a concise, accurate format.
4. Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
5. Must be able to obtain a California State driver's license.
6. Ability to read and write English legibly.
7. Is available to work any shift (day, swing or graveyard).
8. Ability to stoop, bend, walk, reach objects above shoulder height and use hands.
9. Ability to hear spoken communication and communicate orally.
10. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, may be stressful at times.
