Job Summary:

Responsible for properly executing security duties on assigned shift to adequately protect the life and property of Guests, Team Members and Casino property


Duties and Responsibilities: (Specific areas of responsibility included but not limited to.)

1. Generates necessary written reports regarding security-related incidents Guests, Team Members, theft, injury or property damage.
2. Continual active patrol of assigned areas to provide overall asset protection of Casino property and Guest/Team Member safety.
3. Must be able to operate a two-way portable radio to coordinate and dispatch information to all other radio users.
4. Must be familiar with all-applicable laws, rules and regulations governing the Casino.
5. Identify potential safety hazards and report them to appropriate individual for proper resolution.
6. Ensure safe transportation of Casino monies, gaming assets, and the safety of Team Members.
7. Interacts with Guests and Team Members in a positive and professional manner at all times.
8. Operates company vehicles when directed to do so.
9. Maintains a working knowledge of the Casinos facilities, as well as special events on property in order to advise Guests and fellow Team Members whenever possible.
10. Facilitate the flow of information by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
11. Checks identification from all Guests who appear to be under the legal age to either gamble or consume alcoholic beverages.
12. Must learn company Emergency Action Guides to efficiently handle fires, evacuations, robbery attempt, etc., and life-threatening situations.
13. Must provide courteous service and be cordial to all Team Members and Guests.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
2. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
3. 4 months Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred.
4. Excellent communication skills required.
5. Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form in a professional manner.
6. Must be able to keep up with a fast paced atmosphere and work under pressure.
7. Must have a valid Driver License.
8. Must be in good physical condition to perform job duties. The Officer is required to talk, listen, stand, and walk 100% of the job time.
9. The Team Member is required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
10. Preferably a High School Diploma or G.B.D. required.
11. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
12. Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations and carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form in a professional manner.
13. Must poses' organizational and planning skills.
14. Responsible for training and lesson plans.
15. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
16. Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
17. Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
